Stanton Moor Navigation Training

Join us on a 2 hour evening of map & compass navigation training and sharing of ‘best practice’.

During the evening we’ll be using Ordnance Survey maps to navigate (at night) around Stanton Moor near Darley Dale. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, practice old skills and share ‘best practice’ experiences around the group.

It doesn’t matter if you’re totally new to map and compass navigation or an ‘old sweat’ (every day’s a school day).

We’ll start at 6.30pm and all of the training session will be in the dark, so please bring a torch.

The training is free. Please fill in this form and we will send you the details.
